What's WSET?
The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) is an awarding body and registered charity devoted to the development and delivery of qualifications and courses in wine, spirits and saké. Established in 1969 for the UK wine trade, WSET has since grown to become the global industry leader in drinks education.
As a not-for-profit organisation, WSET’s qualifications offer impartial and sound learning upon which individuals and businesses can build knowledge and expertise.
WSET is the gold standard in internationally recognised, job-relevant credentialing for the beverages trade. With up to 4 progressive levels of study, their qualifications are designed for both budding and established professionals, as well as the many enthusiasts who have a passion for wines, spirits and saké.
Their flagship WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines (DipWSET) is universally viewed as the key springboard to the prestigious Master of Wine (MW) programme.
