This interactive e-Learning course is perfect for those seeking a thorough introduction to the world of wines.
Delivered in English via the WSET Online Classroom platform, this official digital course, administered by the WSET headquarters, offers total schedule flexibility, free from set timings. You can participate at your convenience, interacting with fellow students from around the world as well as a Certified Educator assigned by the WSET headquarters.
Course Duration: 5 weeks with a minimum of 6 hours study per week recommended to successfully complete the course. The course is asynchronous: You are free to complete the modules at your own pace during this 5-week window. After that, you'll still have access to the content for one year, although you won't be able to participate in the discussion forum and interact with your classmates anymore.
Course Materials: Study pack (posted to your address) + online study materials (weekly tasks, group tasting area, multiple choice feedback tests and videos)
Wine Samples: You have the choice to add the optional tasting kit, which includes 40 sample-sized wines (20ml each), for an additional cost of 154.90 GBP. Examination: The exam comprises 50 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 60 minutes. To pass, you must answer at least 55% of the questions correctly. You can take the exam online (for an extra £30) or in person (for free) on a date of your choice. Successful students will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin. WSET Level 2 Award in Wines (Online Course)
The course fee covers FREE shipping of your study pack and, upon passing the exam, your certificate and lapel pin to a UK address. For those residing outside the UK, an additional overseas postage fee (£20) will be applied to this order.
