The WSET is now making all their textbooks and study guides available in an eBook format.
The first eBooks in English for Levels 1-4 in Wines, Spirits and Sake have already been launched. These include eBooks for the following qualifications:
With this new development, you can now access course materials on your laptops, tablets and/or smartphones, so you can study for a WSET online or classroom-based course whenever and wherever you want.
eBooks are only available in English for the time being.
The eBook format allows you to read course materials offline on your portable devices (i.e. even when you don't have Internet connection) and also benefits your study technique by enabling you to highlight text, add comments, and search for terms. You can also complete the exercises in the e-workbook directly.
For Levels 2 and 3, you'll have the option between a textbook only eBook, or an eBook Study Pack (i.e. e-textbook + e-workbook). It is, however, not possible to have access to the workbook without the textbook as a bundle.
The new eBooks are accessible via web browsers and/or the WSET eBook App (for iOS and Android devices).
Validity:
Level 1 Awards: 1 year’s access;
Level 2 Awards: 1 year’s access;
Level 3 Awards: 2 years’ access; and
Level 4 Diploma: 3 years’ access.
Access to the eBooks can be extended at an additional cost.
While materials for the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines are now only available in the eBook format, traditional printed copies of WSET Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 textbooks and workbooks are still available.
If you would like to order the eBook version as an additional resource to facilitate your wine/spirits/sake studies, please feel free to get in touch with us (info@vsf.wine).
Together with our online courses (for Levels 1-3), online exams (for Levels 1-2) as well as our sample-sized tasting kits (for Levels 1-3), you can now embark on a fully digitalised wine/sake/spirits journey.
