TASTING NOTE
Clear, ruby in colour with a complex nose of black cherry, mullberry and blackberry aromas. On the palate, it has soft round tannins, medium body, and a long elegant finish. This 100% Kalecik Karasi can be enjoyed with light mediterranean dishes or on its own.
VINIFICATION
The grapes were hand-harvested. The juice was fermented in stainless steel vats at 14°C after two days' skin contact at low temperature. Alcoholic fermentation took place with two weeks maceration. After MLF in stainless steel vats, the wine was matured 30% in new French oak for nine months.
