Description:

This premium shochu is made from 100% select barley. Kan-Noko (神の河), which means "river protected by the gods" in Kagoshima dialect, is named after a stream in South Kagoshima. Kan-Noko has rich and mellow flavour with fragrant aroma. Kan-Noko's amber colour comes naturally from the oak barrel ageing. The shochu has been aged in oak barrels for 3 years before bottling. All natural ingredients. No additives.

Recommended Temperature:

Room temperature or slightly chilled or, to emphasize the savory aspects, warm.

Service Recommendations:

Neat, or with a few drops of water, in a rocks glass.

Food Pairing Suggestions:

This shochu pairs well with sushi, sashimi, grilled fish, chicken etc.
